Giving recovery & strength to adventurous people so they can do more of what they love.

Live more and hurt less through PNF Assisted Stretching & Prescribed Exercise

McCall, Idaho

You're in the right place if

You feel limited by pain, tightness, or old injuries.

You want to do what you love without second-guessing your body.

You live to move and want to continue what you're doing.

You love what you do—running, skiing, golf, or long rides—and you want to keep doing it without feeling worn down.

You want autonomy

You want to understand your body and own your progress—with the confidence to move freely and trust what you’re doing.

Bridging the gap between healthcare and fitness.

Programs that missed the person, solutions that missed the context. So I took the pieces that worked, left the ones that didn’t, and built a service that meets people where they are so that they can live more and hurt less.

I work in the space between rehab and fitness—collaborating with, not replacing, other professionals. By blending detailed assessment, PNF-assisted stretching, and prescriptive exercise, I provide a service that supports recovery, builds strength, and helps you move with confidence.

Built for people who value their independence and want to live a life without limitation—whether that means getting back to running, hiking longer, golfing pain-free, or simply keeping up with everything they love doing.

My process

01

Movement Assessment

I begin every service with a joint-by-joint movement assessment to understand your body and what it’s ready to handle. This becomes our roadmap—not just to track progress, but to guide what comes next. I take into account how you live, your goals, and your history to identify where we can make the biggest impact right away, while still keeping the long game in mind.

02

Assisted Stretching

Not every area that feels tight actually needs to be stretched. Stretching everything is like putting buckets under a leaky roof—it manages the symptoms, but doesn’t fix the problem. That’s why I use your movement assessment to guide every assisted stretching session—so we focus only on the areas where PNF stretching can make a real, measurable difference. This helps avoid overstretching or applying input where your body doesn’t need it. Each session is intentional, precise, and built to help you move with less tension and more control in the things that matter most to you.

03

Progress

This part of the service brings it all together. The movements we prescribe are based on how your body moves, what we uncover in your assessment, and where you want to go. Your programming reinforces lasting change and assisted stretching is the catalyst—because your autonomy comes from both mobility and strength.

What Makes PNF Assisted Stretching So Effective?

PNF stretching (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) is a technique that pairs gentle muscle contractions with guided stretching. When done with a trained professional, it taps into your body’s built-in reflexes to safely improve flexibility, mobility, and control.

Here’s how it works:

  • Targets real limitations
PNF uses a reflex called autogenic inhibition—when you contract and relax a muscle, your nervous system allows it to release tension more safely. This helps your body interpret new ranges as safe, letting shortened areas unwind in a way your body can accept.
  • Backed by research
PNF stretching has been shown to outperform static stretching for improving flexibility in key areas like the hips, hamstrings, and shoulders—especially in active individuals. Studies report joint angle improvements of over 17 degrees in just a few weeks of consistent use.
  • Supports recovery
PNF increases blood flow, oxygen delivery, and waste removal from the muscles. That means better recovery between workouts—so you can do more of the things you love without staying sore.
  • Reduces injury risk
Regular use of techniques like PNF may enhance neuromuscular control and improve the body’s ability to stabilize joints during dynamic movement—especially helpful when dealing with wear and tear or returning from injury.
